Privacy Policy

Bihari Developer ("we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile application Nebula Ride Tracker (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.

The App helps registered fleet drivers share live and recent vehicle location with other authorised fleet members for ride / dispatch coordination.

Location-related data may include:

• Latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, heading, altitude
• Approximate place / area name derived from coordinates (reverse geocoding)
• Timestamp of each location update
• A short trail of recent place names (up to a few recent stops) for fleet display

You can stop sharing at any time by turning the tracking switch OFF in the App, or by revoking location permission in Android Settings.

Account & vehicle registration

• Google account sign-in identifiers (such as Google ID, name, email, profile photo URL) when you choose Google Sign-In
• Driver / display name and mobile number you provide
• Vehicle number / ID you register
• Optional PIN or account security fields used for login / vehicle access

Device & app status

• Device label / model information needed to identify the active tracking device
• Battery percentage (when available) with location uploads
• Network connectivity status (online / offline) for sync
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send operational alerts (for example, a request to turn tracking ON)

Local storage on your phone

• App preferences (for example tracking was on, reminder settings)
• Offline queue of location points waiting to upload when internet returns

• Show live / last-known vehicle position on the fleet map and member list
• Keep fleet members coordinated (online status, recent places, distance)
• Authenticate users and bind a vehicle to an authorised account
• Deliver push / local alerts related to tracking (not advertising)
• Maintain and improve reliability of the tracking service
• Respond to support / privacy requests

• Other registered fleet members using the same Nebula Ride Tracker service may see your name, vehicle number, online status, live / last location, and recent place trail while you are registered.
• Bihari Developer operators may access server logs and account records to run and support the service.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect safety and prevent abuse.

The App relies on third-party services that process data as needed to provide features:

• Google Sign-In — authentication
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
• Map tile / geocoding providers (for example OpenStreetMap-related services) — map display and place names
• Routing helpers (for example OSRM) — approximate road distance
• Google Maps / navigation apps — only when you tap Navigate / Directions (opens an external app or URL with coordinates)
• Bihari Developer servers (biharideveloper.com) — API hosting for accounts and location sync

Those providers have their own privacy policies. We configure them only for the purposes described above.

Background location and a foreground location service are used only while tracking is enabled, so updates continue during trips. Notifications are used for tracking status and teammate alerts.

• Detailed location history on our servers is routinely purged after a short retention window (approximately 2 days) to keep the system lightweight.
• Account / vehicle registration records remain while your account is active so you can sign in again.
• FCM tokens and device labels are updated when you use the App and may be cleared when you unregister or stop using the service.
• Local offline queue data is cleared when uploaded or when you uninstall the App.

• Turn tracking OFF to stop new location uploads
• Revoke location / notification permissions in Android Settings
• Sign out of Google from the App where available
• Uninstall the App to remove local data
• Email us to request deletion of your server registration / associated data (we will process reasonable requests within a practicable time)

The App is intended for licensed drivers and fleet operators. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

We use HTTPS for API communication and limit access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your phone and Google account.

Servers and operators are primarily based in India. If you access the App from another country, your information may be processed in India where data protection laws may differ.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy. Material changes may also be noted in the App or on biharideveloper.com.
